Hubble Public Outreach InformationNow that Hubble is back in action, you are encouraged to contact the ESA Hubble Space Telescope Outreach Coordinator/PIO when you have significant science results and/or papers. As most of you know, the Hubble European Information Centre (HEIC) is located with the ST-ECF at ESO in Garching, Germany. Our goal is to work with you to properly promote European science with Hubble. Although we cannot do PR for every result/discovery, when stories are especially compelling and newsworthy, HEIC can provide writing support and image creation/processing as well as possible accompanying HD video (in the form of a Hubblecast) for selected releases. We can, in close collaboration with you, expose your work to a worldwide audience, highlight important individual, group and institutional achievements and further the scientific canon as a whole. Please remember that we create both press and photo releases, so a compelling image (not accompanied by a science result) can also be considered for release. Our website, spacetelescope.org, is ESA's primary Hubble site, boasting an average of 100 000 visitors per month. Our Hubblecasts are consistently ranked among the top iTunes science podcasts. Some recent examples of our work can be viewed by clicking the links below. News releases:
